Major elements of the station renovation include modernizing and expanding station retail, consolidating station operations, upgrading The Porch landscaping and community amenities, modernizing Amtrak corporate offices, and enhancing building infrastructure to achieve and maintain a ‘state of good repair.’ The renovation of Amtrak’s Philadelphia corporate headquarters will create a more modern and efficient workplace that will expand and modernize the station’s primary SEPTA levels with new food, beverage, and retail options. Expansion of The Porch operations to include more public amenity space, ungraded landscaping, and amenities for community programming. A phased approach will allow the station to remain operational during construction. Tracey Mechanical will furnish and install state-of-the-art VRF HVAC systems.
