Tracey Mechanical was established in 1972 with a small shop of 10 employees. We always have and will be a family business. Over the past 50 years, we have developed a major Philadelphia presence and operate as the region's prominent HVAC and plumbing contractor and service department. Today, our current workforce comprises 200 of the finest tradespeople in the industry. We are affiliated with Local 420 Steamfitters and Local 690 Plumbers.
Our shared belief has always been to offer a distinctly different, service-oriented, honest approach to the construction industry. We are committed to honoring the principles of safety, craftsmanship, quality, and integrity. These values guide our leadership philosophy and form the cornerstone of our culture. Serving the area's primary healthcare facilities, sports complexes, academic and cultural institutions, residential, commercial, and hospitality business sectors.
We take pride in having a hand in shaping the landscape of the Philadelphia skyline.
Safety is a top priority in all aspects of our work, whether it involves installing, repairing, or maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, piping, fire protection, and more. Due to these systems' complex and often hazardous nature, we enforce strict safety protocols to protect workers, clients, and the surrounding environment.
Prioritizing safety reduces the risk of accidents and legal liabilities and ensures higher productivity, employee satisfaction, and a positive reputation in the industry. By implementing robust safety protocols—from personal protective equipment (PPE) to proper handling of hazardous materials, lockouts, and OSHA regulations— we strive to protect our workers, customers, and the environment.
We follow established safety protocols that focus on preventing accidents and ensuring the well-being of workers and the public:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Procedures
- Confined Space Safety
- Safe Lifting and Manual Handling
- Electrical and Gas Safety
- Fire Safety and Prevention
- Hazardous Materials
- Handling Training
- Safety Programs
- OSHA and Local Code
